Rene KL I started my art journey with a love for sketching pictures at 5 years old. I began actually painting pictures in my teen years, but I put my artwork on hold after my first child was born. With raising a family, while working as a nurse, there was simply no time to devote to my hobby. After retiring from nursing, I finally took up my passion for art once again. It has been a slow process, but one I truly enjoy. I see many artists with thousands of drawings & paintings in their galleries, and I know I will never reach that level of expertise or proliferation, because so many of them have been at it night and day for years and years, while I am simply a "newbie." My passion is mostly devoted to painting flowers, because I am amazed at the breathtaking beauty of our great Creator God, who not only made the splendor of the flowers, but gave us such an amazing variety that we would never grow bored with them, or run out of new ones to capture on canvas, and so that we could see in the face of each flower, a touch of his infinite love & glory that he not only revealed to us, but proved to us in I Corin 15:1-4.
