Touching the Blue
Known widely as ‘the unattainable’, the blue rose represents dreams that seem impossible to reach; the fact that the blue rose is in the grip, means that even there is still a hope to even reach the impossible.
I made this painting as a comfort, a support for people that I am caring about who might already on the verge of giving up their dreams. This painting also warms and heals myself as the artist, the one who used to struggle too, and I want to share the comfort to everyone else with the hope that there will be people who can be comforted by my simple painting of the blue rose.

Afterlife is an afterlife. None of the Living really knows what it looks like and whether it exists or not. The interpretation of afterlife itself is broad, but if it really exists I want my afterlife to be peaceful, quiet and full of happiness. The Entity
‘The Entity’ is about hope, about beliefs, about the life itself; as a part of our existence. It was based on the culture that I’ve been growing up with and an idea that came unexpectedly in most unexpected time. It was also made to ‘comfort’ people who see it, just like how I was being comforted while creating the piece.
Rather than dragons, how about a goldfish spirit guarding a holy place on the top of a mountain? I wanted to share not only its beauty but also its life as a form of hope (in symbolic way), something precious that we should be thankful for.

“Playground: A Child’s Dream” is about fantasy world in a child’s mind and his entire universe. There is only his imagination, his happiness, and himself. None to worry about, none to fear. Adults always find themselves in a seemingly infinity loop of despair and somehow end up losing faith to their dreams. One thing that I realized not too long ago, which also what inspired this painting is that no salvation will be done onto their unfortunate fate if one doesn’t even want to fight for their dreams.

Bliss: The Holy Deer Painting
‘Bliss: The Holy Deer’ is a digital painting about a mysterious, calm, and ‘holy’ spirit in deer form living in her realm. The Deer Spirit in this painting is supposed to be representing what most of us call as ‘the guardian angel’ and/or ‘the higher self’, a holy and divine being who has been with us all this time.
For some beliefs, deer is a symbol of peace, grace and kindness while in Buddhism, they are also believed to symbolize happiness, longevity, and harmony. There are also people who believe that ‘deer’ is their spirit animal. The painting itself was done digitally with the plays of various range of ‘greenish’ blue and white, supposed to bring a moment of calm to whoever viewing it and hopefully helping them to ease their mind.
