‘Bliss: The Holy Deer’ is a digital painting about a mysterious, calm, and ‘holy’ spirit in deer form living in her realm. The Deer Spirit in this painting is supposed to be representing what most of us call as ‘the guardian angel’ and/or ‘the higher self’, a holy and divine being who has been with us all this time.
For some beliefs, deer is a symbol of peace, grace and kindness while in Buddhism, they are also believed to symbolize happiness, longevity, and harmony. There are also people who believe that ‘deer’ is their spirit animal. Different from the first version, while it also has red color as its main color element, it also has slight grey shades . The grey shades work to making the parts with red color become more apparent and also symbolize the ‘facade’ of one’s life that is visible to others while these red ‘lines’ indicate the ‘pure’ soul, one’s true self that is being hidden just to adjust themselves to the standards.
Therefore the second version is more like the representation of human’s deeper feelings rather than a symbol of life.

“Playground: A Child’s Dream” is about fantasy world in a child’s mind and his entire universe. There is only his imagination, his happiness, and himself. None to worry about, none to fear.
