Of Water and Fate
‘Of Water and Fate’ represents the hope and willpower that one possesses in her heart, despite of the struggling she has to face in her life.
It is a painting that portrays the fight we often face with ourselves and hope that born within it. This painting doesn’t mean to scare and to demotivate people, but instead, to remind that ‘true power’ lies within us. Buried in our deepest heart, embraced by our inner voice; which presence needs to be acknowledged by ourselves to make it lightens our path in the dark.

Touching the Blue
Known widely as ‘the unattainable’, the blue rose represents dreams that seem impossible to reach; the fact that the blue rose is in the grip, means that even there is still a hope to even reach the impossible.
I made this painting as a comfort, a support for people that I am caring about who might already on the verge of giving up their dreams. This painting also warms and heals myself as the artist, the one who used to struggle too, and I want to share the comfort to everyone else with the hope that there will be people who can be comforted by my simple painting of the blue rose.

Village
Village is heavily inspired by the beauty of Japanese architecture. Made to provide comfort by the picture of a peaceful place for those who need to rest a bit.
It has always been my dream to be able to visit or even to live in a quiet, peaceful place in the middle of a place surrounded by forest, far from the sounds of big cities. One of the settings that I have imagined is a village, one winter night in which everything feels so serene and so peaceful. I made this while hoping that people who see Village will also feel the same serene feeling and be comforted a bit by it. I aspire to make my art heals in one way or another, so I also tried my best with this one.

Afterlife
Afterlife is an afterlife. None of the Living really knows what it looks like and whether it exists or not. The interpretation of afterlife itself is broad, but if it really exists I want my afterlife to be peaceful, quiet and full of happiness. But, other than that, this painting is not simply about ‘afterlife’ in literal meaning, but also about the Life itself.

The Entity
‘The Entity’ is about hope, about beliefs, about the life itself; as a part of our existence. It was based on the culture that I’ve been growing up with and an idea that came unexpectedly in most unexpected time. It was also made to ‘comfort’ people who see it, just like how I was being comforted while creating the piece.
Rather than dragons, how about a goldfish spirit guarding a holy place on the top of a mountain? I wanted to share not only its beauty but also its life as a form of hope (in symbolic way), something precious that we should be thankful for.

Withering Soul
Withering Soul is a metaphorical illustration about someone whose soul has withered away in peace after letting go of the worldly attachment that used to imprison him. This illustration can be interpreted in many ways, depends on how you want to understand it. It looks artificial but actually just a metaphorical symbol about life and death; something that we have to face someday in our life. Through this piece I want to remind you about the importance of respecting our life and live our best each day.

Playground: A Child’s Dream
“Playground: A Child’s Dream” is about fantasy world in a child’s mind and his entire universe. There is only his imagination, his happiness, and himself. None to worry about, none to fear. Adults always find themselves in a seemingly infinity loop of despair and somehow end up losing faith to their dreams. One thing that I realized not too long ago, which also what inspired this painting is that no salvation will be done onto their unfortunate fate if one doesn’t even want to fight for their dreams.
