angels emerging I created this over a period of two months. My teenage son asked me to depict two
Angels hugging and this is what developed. Over the years, this image was almost sold three times and then the sales fell through. Elements Water
elements water is one of twenty artworks that I did as a series while staying at Ozu on an artist residency in Italy. It came straight out from my imagination and from sensing the difference between Canada’s fresh raw landscape and Italy’s land that has had thousands of people crossing it for a long time. Laguz Water
laguz water was finished in two stages. First I covered the canvas with a thick, even coat of dark blue oil paint and then when that was completely dry, I painted quickly using my fingers and a paddle. I named this artwork Laguz which is the Celtic name for water or flow. Some viewers see a forest and others see water. I hope that you may enjoy this image.

Morning Light
Morning light was created from a memory of taking the ferry to the Sunshine Coast, B.C. Canada. It was winter time and the crisp morning sea air and sunlight formed a golden path. My wish is that you may feel some of this beauty too.

Ripples in the Pond
ripples in the pond was done in a few hours and I felt so much joy while creating it. I wasn’t even sure what it would be when it was finished but I felt a huge amount of happiness while working on it. When nearly completed, I stood back and laughed out loud because I had created the pond in a park nearby to where I live, where frogs jump and create ripples! I hope that you may feel some of my joy.

Seasons Changing
Sunlight was sparkling in my studio window, when I created this piece of art. The tree evolved as I worked on it, and when complete I felt that this tree represented moving from one season to the next. Perhaps you may find a good memory within the artwork.
